Chapter 14: Radial Velocity Method

The graph at bottom is illustrating the emitted wavelength of the star as the orbiting planet pulls on it. The changing color and wavelength depicts when the star is moving toward (blue) and away (red) from the observer and how fast it is moving (Doppler effect).
